DARKWATER:

DJ UNBREAKABLE :

DJ U.B. born 07.09.1981 mixes the best in Desi, Punjabi music with the latest hip hop numbers and is currently in deep experimentation with his music to release his new genre of music called "desind - hop" or "d - hop" which is a mixture of Indian / desi songs with hip hop & other genres of black music.

Moreover DJ U.B. is an amazing dancer and every club he at, sets the dancefloor on fire with his awesome ground moves and spins and break-dancing.

Personal Life :

DJ Unbreakable gets his name from an event that happened 3 years before at a popular nightclub he got into a ferocious fight with 17 people. The 17 people attacked him and U.B. was thrown to the far end of the club and when he was on the ground, they stomped him and mauled him so bad, not even giving him a chance to get up and just as they thought they had finished him and moved away from his body, U.B. gets up as if nothing happened, dusts himself and continues to drink, enjoy and party at the club, and unbelievably there was not even a scratch on him. From then on he was known as Unbreakable.

UB has a mark of an iron rod thrust inside his right arm, when he has a fight during his younger days.

Special Talents :

U.B. can break almost any kind of glass, burn himself and his body can resist extreme cold temperatures and any kind of hardcore pain inflected upon him. A favourite past-time of U.B. is to ask his friends to beat him with wooden or steel sticks until it breaks, but not him as he is Unbreakable.

GANJA BREED / HUSTLA :

Ganja Breed born (01.11.1980) in the cream of the Portuguese community is the best at what he does.

And his job at D-Unit is hustling. Hustle and Flow is his way of riding through the community, striving to aim high at bringing in big bucks for the Dwillitary Unit. Scheming and Strateging different ways and means to bring in the green for D-Unit to make the scene!

THE CYKE :

Cyke is the events manager for the D-Unit and also interacts with the public on behalf of DarkWateR. He is the spokesman for the entire group and knows how to handle his way through and out of any situation.

Cyke enjoys intoxication of the mushroom kind. Set on toxicating himself with the best shrooms from lush green jungle regions like the hills of Kody.

Cyke is also well known for his spontaneous wise cracks and dissing techniques, no one can outdo cyke at dissing. He is also popularly know as the "Don of Disgust" as he uses multiple slangs of badmouthing.

Cyke is currently married and has a baby girl. (Sorry ladies :p)

TINY :

Darkwater's most trusted friend for 10 years, Tiny was personally selected by DarkWater to be the Group's assistant team modulator to take care of events, situations and issues when DW is not around.

Tiny has a wide network of contacts for any issue or necessity that may occur which makes him the best at organizing any kind of situation.

Tiny is a pro level basketball player and a sportsman of different kinds of outdoor activities.

BEEF :

Beef, Jamaican born (27.12.1985) is the Costumes & Blings designer for the D-Unit. He is upto date with the latest trends and designs of the fashion world. Beef will start his own line of clothing called "Black - Star Trendz" late next year 2008.

Beef has the most unique hair style in the UAE, with short dreadlocks and pearls thread through them.

Beef is popularly know as "PIMP" for his wide collection of female friends that always seem to hang out with him wherever he is. Some people think he is a womaniser, but close friends know him as a cool and crazy person and amazing fun to hang out with.

DARKTHANG (D-THANG) :

Darkthang the younger brother of DW born (12.May.1990).

D-Thang follows the same characteristics of DW and follows the same genre of Dwip - Hop like his brother. D-Thang started his music and rapping career at an early age of 10 and has the special ability to change his voice into different patterns, pitches and tones and often mimic other rappers as well. He also mixes the best in black music and since he s not legally allowed to play at clubs, only dj's at private vip parties and is also the youngest Indian rapper / DJ ever. D-Thang is totally into platinum jewellery and has a huge collection of shiny blings imported to him from all over the globe. He is widely and popularly know as the "Big Bling".

BONECRUSHER :

115 Kgs of pure power, Darkwater met Bonecrusher at a nightclub and immediately knew that he has to recruit him into the D-Unit as they needed some backup like him if any beef arose anytime. Even though Unbreakable was there on the group DW, knew that Bonecrusher would prove to be a mighty ally against any odds. Bonecrusher is a highly notorious thug and as his name says, crushes anything in his way. Under the influence, Bonecrusher is like the incredible hulk, an inhuman beast that cannot be stopped.

Bonecrusher is a half human, half beast nightmare to his enemies, he doesn't stop untill your dead. A ferocious fighter and capable of challenging and combating 10 well trained and armed martial arts fighters, Bonecrusher will arrive victorious against all odds. Nothing can hurt or harm the Bonecrusher and his enemies are not alive today to tell the tale.

Bonecrusher is like an unstoppable iron train with powerful engines, the palm of his hands are big enough to cover a full grown adult's head completely. He can crush the skull of the head with one hand.

Bonecrusher is a notorious felon and wanted all over the globe for international fights and cases by the Interpol. Darkwater offered him safety and friendship and keeps him hidden at the "Dark Base" or "D-Base" which is the headquarters of the D-Unit and only releases him when there is trouble or when they go for any special events and Bonecrusher takes care of the entire Unit and protects them all from the opposers.

THE BEAST :

The Beast is Bonecrusher's first cousin and shares the same characteristics of Bonecrusher.Beast is not as unstoppable as Bonecrusher and does have his own weaknesses. Darkwater welcomed Beast to join the D-Unit as well as he is the only one can control Bonecrusher during his rage session and to cool him down to the human form.

Beast is very good at designing cars and designs the wheels for D-Unit. He also owns a fully remodelled Mustang which has an out-of-this world design, first prototype of its nature.

PUBLIK ENEMY :

Publik Enemy or P.E. born (17.12.1980) is so called for his notorious behavior for picking a fight with anybody possible. P.E. met DW in the Club where they had a fight dance to see who was better, but that soon ended with a new bond of friendship between the two.

Publik Enemy had a petty fight with Beef before they became friends. But when he encountered Ganja Breed, P.E. and him had a major street fight resulting in P.E. being seriously injured, both mentally and physically. After that incident, D-Unit thought P.E. would stop but that only triggered him more into getting physically aggressive with Ganja Breed and till now P.E. bears a grudge against him.

Later P.E. met Bonecrusher and had a string of verbal arguments with him and would have resulted in a fight if not for Darkwater who had resolved the issue in a peaceful manner.

DW invited Publik Enemy to join the D-Unit in 2007 and appointed him in charge of the security technique and tactics at D-Base.

DJ Scorpion :

DJ Scorpion is an Afro-American Born (19.01.1979). He is a rapper / dancer and choreographs all the dance sequences for the videos of D-Unit. His style of dancing is called the "Scorp" which is a unique blend of hip hop break-dancing and ground moves. He raps live at the nightclubs during the events of D-Unit.

Scorpion loves to pump iron & also acts as the personal coach, trainer of the D-Unit members.

Barbeque (BBQ) :

Barbeque or BBQ is the group financer of D-Unit. BBQ is also a famous rapper and raps during his free time. BBQ is also the father of Darwater, supporting his work from the beginning and decided to take the legend to the next level by financing DW's group D-Unit.

BBQ is based in Greece but occasionally visits the group for events and award ceremonies etc.

The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie) :

Biggie is the latest addition to the D-Unit. He was the leader of his own clique in Sharjah but moved to Abu Dhabi due to a series of felony assaults on his group.

Biggie and DW did their schooling together at Junior High.

DWILLITARY UNIT RECORDS :

INTRODUCTION :

Dwillitary Unit Records alias " D-Unit " is the International all star group / team / record label of the infamous rap phenomenon / dvj'ing legend DVJ Darkwater (the first DVJ - Disco Video Jockey ever who also introduced his own genre of music in the black industry called Dwip-Hop). This website features all D-Unit's latest releases, news, parties and events.

THE MAKING & MEANING :

Dwillitary comes from DW & Millitary combined together as one. We chose Millitary because we want to show that our tactics and strategy are as efficient as the millitary. Perfection is the key word to what we do. "Unit" comes from "Unite" and of course represents our combined effort as a team since it is not as an individual but as a team that we can truely express our combined output and that is the recipe what makes the Dwillitary Unit Records or D - Unit.

United we are the D - UNIT.

Rap Phenomenon, Dancefloor Demon, DVJ'ing legend, think thats it???

Hell no..... think again.....

Darkwater is the initiator and establisher of the Dwillitary Unit (A Group called D - Unit set at its best to bring the funkiest entertainment to the public for all genres of music but focused on extensive flamboyant remixes of all black music / Gangsta Rap). Darkwater or <DW> has introduced his own genre of music called Dwip-Hop which is a mix of Gangsta Rap, Street Jamz, Underground and Hip Hop in a kind of sequence you could never believe, unless you hear it yourself!

Born and set up in the heart of the United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi, the capital city, DW the founder of D - Unit along with the rest of the gang members do their thang, rocking the city and enlightening the public what real music is all about.

Like the saying goes : "When you go black, you never go back!"

PERSONAL LIFE :

DW born (April 1rst 1980) was a low-rider at junior school and was bullied all along the way till he reached high school and decided that he had to do something to change his life and to the tip tables to his convenience. On the first month at school during the year 1995, DW decided to form his own gang called "Darkness Incorporate" or "Dark Inc." in short. For the past year DW and his team consisting of the school's top notch players & ballers : Shade, Free Willy & Steam dominated the campus premises and built up their image by making the best local mixtapes of the "then popular" genre of old school rap. This setup was in full swing and no body could touch this powerful team as they were in total control of the power of the public and this went on till the year 1997 when the whole team had to break up and part their ways as high school was over and they had to move on to university.

During this period all the rest of the members shifted their focus from music to their own personal lives and forgot all about the pact they made to serve the public by their entertainment events. All of them started studying and concentrating on their university exams and strived to attain petty university degrees. However DW was still focused on music and there was nothing on earth to divert his attention from that, as it had become part of him like his soul to his life. He returned to his home country of India to complete his university degree.

At University in the year (1998) DW encountered some felons and made up a group called "Sexy 6" or "SXY6" with them, however he was not the head this time and it was lead by a notorious prankster at university called "CYKO" along with him the rest of the members were of course DW, Tall Wonder - (TW), Sisqo, SXY-Snoop, Benny B and later there was an extra member nicknamed "Ugly" for his awkward facial features. This group was not reall into music and jus went on for the affiliations and publicity. Later DW figured out that he had to do something about his music career and split from the group in the year (2000) and tried to work on his own. (FYI currently Cyko got into movie acting and Sisqo became a bounty hunter in the forests as he was always one for the wild, TW had met the girl of his dreams and got married and ended up in the "lived happily ever after" theory, SXY-Snoop is in London doing his higher university education, Benny B got into pro football and Ugly got to acting in horror movies which didn't surprise the rest of the SXY6 team even a least bit.

At this point DW was greatly distressed as he had no backup and was working on his own, moreover the people in his neighbourhood were mentally affected by a genre of music called trance & techno, it was just a string of loud beats and weird sounds and people were jumping all over the place insulting the name of dance and just making a fool of themselves. This was a big challenge and competition to the world of hip hop and DW had to do something to bring the people to their senses.

He dropped out of university in the year (2001) and accepted and took up the challenge by starting his own group with a group of faithful comrades which consisted of : G-Zee, Tiny, R-Wind, Jitz, Spawn, SFO. DW's cousin "King" sponsored the team and their manager "Bong" was a close friend of King who took care of all the public relations and other events of the team. The group was christened as "DarK SquaD" or "D-SquaD". DW was running the show along with aid of his fellow minions. During this time DW started rapping and discovered that he had another split personality character within himself which called itself "DeathWish" - DW as well. Now DW could rap in 2 different voices, lyrical vocals and different style. DW was thenceforth called the Spontaneous-Explosion and the SparkStarter as he was the spark for any fiery event or party scene.

The group broke up in 2003 and in 2004, DW departed back to his place of birth, the UAE - Abu Dhabi where he discovered that he knew no one and all his friends and comrades had migrated to another country. He was yet all alone, but for a person with talents like DW making friends was a piece of cake so he set forth, hardcore-clubbing, blinging at the dancefloors of all the popular clubs, setting the disco's on fire with his amazing performances and making friends and enemies at the same time.

For 3 years DW works on his own to make his mark on the Global Sphere of music and now the year 2007 brings new ideas, innovations and plans for his mastermind. He introduced his own genre of music called Dwip-Hop and with a group of fellow talented individuals he started the Dwillitary Unit Records (D-Unit) which will be the heart of all the party events and night lives in the United Arab Emirates and soon developed at an international level.

DW has a cover up day job during the morning hours in the name of Antony working at a consulting firm as the administration department, due to legal issues. But at night he is DarkWater the legendary DVJ and founder of the Dwillitary Unit.
